KIVO

From conversation to momentum.

A collaborative workspace designed to capture important signals, clarify ownership, and keep teams moving toward one shared plan.

Duration
6 weeks

Turning scattered conversation into visible progress.

Teams create information quickly, but momentum often disappears between meetings, notes, messages, and project tools. KIVO explores a calmer workflow: capture the signal, understand what matters, assign ownership, and make the next move visible.

Challenge
Important decisions and commitments become fragmented across tools.
Opportunity
Create continuity between conversation and execution.
Outcome
A focused workspace and launch-motion system built around visible momentum.

The work was happening. The momentum was invisible.

Meetings produced ideas, decisions, and promises, but those signals rarely arrived in one reliable place. The design challenge was to reduce the distance between saying something important and turning it into an owned action—without adding another heavy layer of process.

  1. 01

    Fragmented signals

Notes, messages, and tasks live in separate contexts.

  2. 02

    Unclear ownership

Commitments lose urgency when responsibility is not visible.

  3. 03

    Hidden progress

Teams cannot feel momentum when movement is scattered across tools.

One continuous transformation.

  1. 01

    Capture

Listen for decisions, commitments, and unresolved questions.

  2. 02

    Clarify

Separate meaningful signals from background conversation.

  3. 03

    Own

Connect every action to a person and a reason.

  4. 04

    Move

Make progress, dependencies, and risk visible.

Designed around the moments where momentum is won or lost.

01 — Overview

A calm command center for what changed and what moves next.

The overview brings decisions, priorities, and recent movement into one focused view. A momentum map visualizes progress from raw signal to owned action. Design decision: lead with change and priority rather than a dense task list, so the first glance answers what needs attention.

02 — Capture

The meeting becomes structured while it is still happening.

KIVO identifies decisions, commitments, owners, and open questions in real time, while preserving the surrounding conversation for context. Design decision: tag signals inline with the transcript so every extracted item stays traceable to what was actually said.

03 — Action Plan

Every priority carries its reason, owner, and next move.

Captured signals become a visible plan with sequencing, deadlines, dependencies, and plan-health indicators. Design decision: a simple Now / Next / Later structure keeps sequencing legible without heavy project-management overhead.

04 — Alignment

A shared timeline makes coordination tangible.

Workstreams, milestones, risks, and confidence appear together so the team can see whether movement is truly synchronized. Design decision: place owner confidence beside the timeline so risk is read in context instead of in a separate report.

The product story moves from noise to inevitability.

The motion language follows the product logic. Objects do not disappear and reappear without reason; they transform. Fragmented signals become clusters, clusters become actions, and independent paths become one continuous trajectory.

Clarity

Every transition removes noise.

Continuity

Objects transform instead of disappearing.

Momentum

Movement accelerates only after ownership becomes clear.

Restraint

Glow supports meaning; it never becomes decoration.

Direct enough to move.

Human enough to matter.

A believable product world—not just a collection of screens.

The final concept connects product strategy, interface design, and motion direction into one consistent system. Four core workflows explain how the product behaves, while the six-beat storyboard maps the launch narrative's emotional shift from scattered information to coordinated progress.

Limitations. KIVO is an independent concept, not a shipped product. It has not been user-tested or built in production, and the motion direction is presented as a storyboard rather than a finished film.

Concept project created for portfolio demonstration.
